About Me
Growing Ideas. Improving What Matters. Always Learning.
I didn’t start my career in tech.
I started in banking, spending more than 15 years at Société Générale, growing from a front desk role to leading a group of branches. Along the way, I wore many hats: personal banker, corporate relationship manager, regional marketing coordinator, and eventually group director.
That journey gave me something I still rely on today: a deep understanding of people, business, and growth.
I worked closely with entrepreneurs to secure funding and access public grants. I advised high-net-worth individuals. I built and scaled branch networks, I hired, trained, and led teams. I learned how to grow businesses in the real world, where decisions have immediate, tangible impact.
But at some point, I became curious about a different kind of growth.
Starting from Zero (Again)
After more than a decade in banking, I made a deliberate decision to start over, this time in digital.
I went back to learning. I took courses, explored data, product, and marketing, and immersed myself in the tech world. What began as curiosity quickly turned into momentum.
I built my first digital product: eLearn Ro, an app for learning Romanian online. It wasn’t perfect, but it taught me how to turn an idea into something real.
From there, I moved into fast-paced startups, where everything accelerated.
Building at Scale
Over the past 7+ years, I’ve worked at the intersection of product, growth, and marketing, helping digital products like Word Tips reach millions of users.
I’ve:
- Scaled platforms from early-stage to high-traffic ecosystems
- Launched multiple products from concept to market
- Built content and growth engines that drove exponential traffic
- Worked closely with engineering, design, and leadership teams to align product and market
What I enjoy most is connecting the dots—turning complex products into clear value for users, and turning that value into sustainable growth.
Where I Am Now
Today, I’m focused on building and growing meaningful projects, but with a stronger intention behind the work. I’m particularly interested in opportunities where technology meets real-world impact: products that solve meaningful problems, organizations that care about long-term value, not just short-term metrics, and environments where growth and purpose can coexist.
What Drives Me
My career might look unconventional, but the thread has always been the same – helping things grow:
- Businesses
- Products
- Teams
- Ideas
My Four Principles Of Growth
1. 20% of the work will account for 80% of the results
It is crucial to quickly find that 20% and focus on it. I use design thinking and creative experimentation to find that 20% fast. It boils down to finding the funnel stages and the right marketing channels to leverage.
Regarding the funnel, an early-stage SaaS may need to prioritize outbound and conversions, while a B2C publisher should focus on increasing the user base. Regarding channels, some businesses start by building on paid advertising, while others should bet on organic or create their outbound sales department.
2. Each project is unique
Each project is different, grows differently, and needs a starting and humble approach: I believe that each project is unique and requires a different approach to achieve growth. Therefore, I always start with a humble attitude, recognizing that there may be unknowns and that I may not have all the answers. By being open and willing to learn, I am able to adapt my strategy to the specific needs of each project and achieve sustainable growth over time.
3. Understanding the limits of growth
Each product has its limits for growth, and it’s essential to identify and understand them early. I recognize that each project has its limitations and potential for growth, which can be influenced by factors such as the product cycle and stage if it’s an autonomous product or depends on a different product. Nevertheless, it is essential to understand these limits in order to set realistic goals and allocate resources effectively.
4. Thinking in systems
I believe each project is a complex system comprising various interrelated components such as users, market, and production process. Therefore, to achieve sustainable growth, it is essential to have a holistic understanding of the project and its ecosystem and to take a holistic approach to problem-solving and strategy development.
